My composition teachers, in order of appearance:
BCM International - including the BCM Discussion forum where you can discuss all sorts of things with the four of us
Eric Whitacre - Godzilla himself, BCM International founder
--Paradise Lost - Opera Electronica
Jonathan Newman - Brainiac of BCM International
James Bonney - Guitar hero of BCM International
John Mackey - Band music rockstar (and another friend from the Juilliard days - in fact, one of the very first people I ever met there!)
Mason Bates - fellow Juilliard alum; leads a dual life as classical composer extraordinaire by day, and electronica DJ genius by night.
Derek Charke - we studied with Cindy McTee at UNT around the same time, and keep running into each other in random places.
Christopher Tucker - fellow composer another colleague from my days at UNT
Virginia Allen - conductor, composer, and arranger, with a groundbreaking history conducting the US Army Bands, as well as being a genuinely helpful and generous person with her advice and experience.
